Covid-19 which initially was considered to be a form of Flu which would pass as the Winter / Spring progressed has now developed into a worldwide Pandemic and is causing major health and safety concerns with deaths and severe illnesses throughout the globe. Here in Ireland, we have entered a “lockdown” with severe restrictions on travel, job losses, economic downturn and no end in sight just yet. We, as a Nation, took timely decisions and have followed Government / Medical advice in a very responsible way. It will take some time to develop a vaccine for this virus and the WHO advises a regime of “Test, test, test” in order to get a handle on the progress of the virus. Hopefully, current treatments and hopefully a focused vaccine will be available fairly soon.

In the meantime, it is imperative that we all follow the advice : Stay indoors, wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds, isolate where necessary, stay 2m ( 6 ft ) apart and contact your GP if you experience the symptoms of being infected.

STAY SAFE !!!!    WE WILL GET OVER THIS !!
